Beautiful. Gorgeous. $119! Holy cow. So my question is where can I find a magazine rack like this for cheaper? Or is it possible that someone knows how to make one (that's the part of my brain that lived in India)??? Thanks for your help!

haha! I know where to get one :) We have TONS of potterybarn furniture now :) We just took pics from the mag and gave it to them :) \

We have a similar one that my dad made for us. I gave him pics like the one you've posted, but his version is not quite the same. I would still love to get my hands on one of those bookshelves one day. I love them! But I've never seen a "good deal" on one.
My sister found one at the Pottery Barn Outlet in Gaffney onetime. I can't remember how much it was, but it was a steal there!

Thanks Jamie! We live not 20 minutes from the outlets so it wouldn't be hard to stop in and see if they have it. I was wondering if it ever showed up there.
the unfinished furniture stores can sometimes custom build pieces - might be worth checking one of those out.
My mom has this guy who does wood-working for her - and he can build things to match anything she gives him. He made an awesome spoon rack that matches one she had. Anyway, I'm agreeing with the other Erin and saying to find a furniture place (or some random wood-worker dude) and show them the picture. Or, I'll tell my mom to do it for you! :)

k - i have one, a baby gift... and it was cheaper last year - go figure! but you can call the outlet in Gaffney to see if they have any of the magazine racks before you make the trip... they've always been good to check on supply for me that way!
