Embarrassing Moment and a Question

So 6 people have fessed up to their most embarrassing moments. If you haven't read the comments on the previous post, you really need to take some time to read them. They are hilarious. 4 more people need to spill their guts and I'll tell. I find it a little ironic that some of the people who got so mad at me not sharing the first time haven't shared theirs yet. 4 more!

This question is for those of you who have Facebook (but not Dad because he somehow claims he accidentally set up a Facebook account). What do you do when someone asks to be your friend but you don't remember them? You have mutual friends and maybe even a common school but you don't have any recollection of them? Do you accept their friend request or not?

I accept them :) I usually end up remembering who they are.

I accept them and then after I see their info and still don't remember them then I just delete them. No big deal. --LT

P.S. So glad to hear your dad is doing better!! I've been praying hard for him and your fam.

man is EVERYONE on facebook but me? I've been thinking about joining the facebook generation but haven't made it happen yet. (this is erin, by the way.)

I'm not on Facebook either, Erin/Mark. I'm boycotting it.

I was boycotting also b/c i thought it was just a big popularity contest. But Alicia made an account for me when she moved to california and its actually been fun to reconnect with some people I hadn't talked to in a while (Hi LT!). My flatmate from Australia found me the other day!

yeah, maybe I will join. My sister said she'd make one for me, but I'm a little nervous about what she would share. I'm a very private person, you know. ;-)

You are so private Erin. I don't really have much on my profile. I just have friends and play Scramble. Oh Erin I think you would enjoy the word games on it.

Since I posted this, I've gotten a second friend request from someone from high school. I tend to have a pretty good people memory and I'm quite certain I've never met the girl.

Kelley,
Maybe I'm mean, but if I don't remember them, I ignore the request. I'm a little protective of who I let in my profile! Have you looked them up in your yearbook?

Hey I told you I wet my pants! I don't really have any except when I got skittles stuck up my nose trying to make a friend laugh in 7th grade...after she laughed I laughed and sucked the red and green up my nose and was sent to the nurse and the principals office for disrupting the class!

One of the girls is 4 years younger- she wouldn't even be in my yearbooks. I could look in my sister's or brother's but that is way too much work. I think her problem is she doesn't have her maiden name on her page so I really have no idea. I think I'm just going to ignore. My need for friends on Facebook isn't that overwhelming to me.

I normally don't accept them if I don't know/remember them. If they have a ton of my mutual friends and it seems I should know them, then occasionally I'll ask one of the mutual friends who the person is before making my ultimate decision of whether or not to accept or deny the request.
