A Busy Week

We try very hard to guard our time so that we can do the things we need to do and want to do well and not be stretched in too many directions. Sometimes though life is just busy. Last week J was out of town for a few days and then Kiran & I spent a few days in the mountains. We've had playdates and baby showers and out of town guests. We've had fun but I like seeing all the open space on my calendar the next few days. I love being able to just pick up and go to the park whenever the sun is shining.

We kicked off our busy week by going to see my brother-in-law in a Harley Davidson fashion show.

Yes that is my sister's husband modeling a Harley Davidson jacket. He looked like he was really comfortable up there modeling. Maybe he's hit on something.

After the fashion show, Kiran & I headed downtown for Artisphere with my parents, Will & Lauren. We wandered through all the art enjoying the pieces and gasping at the prices. We ate on the little plaza beside what used to be Carpenter Bros Drugstore. Kiran is obsessed with buses right now and every time the trolley came through she would yell "A BUS!" So after dinner we hopped on the trolley intending to get off near an ice cream place. 45 minutes later (downtown Greenville isn't that big y'all) we were dropped off at the front door of the new gelato place. The gelato was wonderful. Its right down from Barley's on Washington. Yum.

Will & Lauren- married in 26 days!

There really is something about those empty days after a few busy days. You'd be surprised to see all the gelato places here now...they're everywhere!

I know what you mean about being busy. April has been CRAZY! Hopefully after the baby comes, things will settle down a bit!
