39 Weeks
If you look at the little ticker on the right of this blog post, it will tell you that I'm 39 weeks pregnant and that I have 7 days to go. I have to be honest- I didn't think I'd be here. My water broke with Kiran 13 days before my due date so I just assumed that this one would come early too. (Technically she has 6 more days to be early.) I spent two weeks in major pain from the nerve and anxiously wanting her to come. Now I told her she missed her chance and she has to hold out until at least Thursday so we can get through all the visitation/funeral happenings. And I'm totally ok. In fact, I think I'll be ok even if I go overdue. I feel pretty good- a little swelling but that's about it. And its so nice to not be thinking about going into labor all the time. I'm pretty convinced that this baby isn't showing up anytime soon. Maybe I'll actually finish her room before she gets here.....eh doubtful.

So exciting!! Every time I see you have a new blog entry on bloglines, I get very excited...can't wait to hear all about it!!
Let us know when you reach the point that you need the magic labor song sung for you. :)
I'm glad you feel good. If you have a late baby, it's so much better to be comfortable! (I would know.) You must wake up every morning and say... is july 1 going to be an important day for our family forever more? is july 2 going to be an important day for our family forever more? etc. can't wait to see pictures of her!
Just FYI that I am going to make a road trip to SC once she is here!
roberts- I forget sometimes that people are waiting to hear news and I'll call someone cell phone and not leave a message. Every time they call back "Are you in labor???"
erin g- how late was Nathan??
Jill- yea! Another thing to look forward to when Baby Girl comes. I can't wait to see you!!
due on the 22nd, came on the 26th. not too bad. the induction was already scheduled, though, for the 30th, I think. if you go so late that they assume you will eventually have to be induced, it FEELS late!
but like you, I was comfortable. anxious to meet him, but not miserably pregnant the way some people get.
I'm impressed! About 38 weeks with all three, I've been READY!
Here's to lots of patience in the waiting! Its so close!
Can't wait to hear she's here!
Baby Caskey, won't you come out...?
Something like that - I tried to sing it :)
Everyone tells me that pregnancies are just as different as the kids they produce :) haha! Should be fun to see!!
Oh wait...
"Caskey Baby, won't you come out?
Caskey Baby, you'll be so much fun...
Caskey Baby youll be so much fun in your family, oh Caskey Baby..."
hmmm... something like that :)
Congratulations guys! I'm waiting on a post with pictures. I love the name Sienna - beautiful! Rest rest rest :) Easier said than done, huh?
Andrea- you were posting your comments about singing the song as Sienna was being born! Ironic don't you think?
