Houston Bound

Today's ultrasound was right where we had hoped- the fluid levels were at the right measurements to qualify us for the surgery but the TTTS didn't show any noticeable progression in the last 48 hours. We are hanging on in Stage 2 which is not as good as Stage 1 but better than Stage 3.

So our plan is to fly to Houston Sunday evening. I will have consultations all day Monday and I am scheduled for surgery at 7:30am Central Time on Tuesday. I'll spend Tuesday night in the hospital and be discharged Wednesday. We plan to fly back midday on Thursday.

God is providing at every turn. It makes me cry to see how much He and the Body of Christ around us are helping us. Jonathan was on the phone for hours this morning trying to find us flights that were cheaper than the $1000 ones we were looking at out of GSP. He finally, finally talked to the right person at United who allowed us to buy 1,000 airline miles (the amount we were short for two tickets) and didn't make us wait the 24-48 hour period for them to post. So we are able to fly direct from GSP to Houston for about $100. We have an empty house that's been offered to us thanks to some friend's in-laws and someone has already offered to pay for our rental car.

I have been so humbled. I know that I am inadequate to do this on my own. But you know what, we haven't had to.

All of this brings tears to my eyes -- that you are going through all of this and that it is happening so fast, but that you are being so well taken care of and the way things are working out. We will be praying hard for all of you!

Kel & JC-I wanted to let you know I am reading your updates and praying for you guys. Our church prayer chain is praying too! God is faithful and "knows the plans He has for you-plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future"! Praise God that he has Owen and Rhys (not sure if I spelled that correct), right in his palm and will be glorified through this experience! Thank you for your faithfulness! I love you both!

My husband, newborn son, and I live in Houston, about 3 miles from the Medical Center area. If you need anything while you are here, we would be happy to help. Brett and Merritt have our address/phone number, and email is below.

We are praying for all 6 of you.
