Kiran and the baby and the pregnancy

Kiran is at a really fun age with all this baby and pregnancy stuff. Beyond the fact that she totally takes care of Sienna when I'm sick, she's kept us laughing about the whole thing.

We didn't tell her until I was 11 weeks (right before the birthday party) because we didn't want to try the whole keeping it a secret thing. Which was a good idea because she immediately told our neighbors.

When I was maybe 7 weeks, Kiran looked at me one day when I was scratching my belly and asked, "Mommy, do you have a baby in your belly?"
I said, "Why Kiran?'
She said, "Because you look like you do!"
Thanks child. I only had 7 more months to go.

When we told her that Mommy had a baby in her belly, she immediately responded with "I have a baby in my belly too!" She has been very insistent on this. When I ask her when her baby is coming, she'll say "Um in about 36 minutes".

Kiran is convinced this baby is a girl and won't even discuss boy names. We'll say "What if the baby is a boy?" and she'll just smile and say, "What if its a girl?"

When I was maybe 11 or 12 weeks, Kiran said to me while I was changing shirts "I see a baby...and a whole lot of food!"
