That's for you Merritt (And my brother-in-law- don't worry Jordan I won't tell anyone how much you like that movie...)
I didn't mean to squeal and run but my extended family gathered on Edisto Island and our beach house didn't have internet. And I couldn't be bothered to drive around Edisto with my laptop open parking in empty driveways to pick up wireless signals (unlike some family members who will remain nameless). So I had 4 days free of emails, facebook, blogs, etc. It was luxurious. I loved it. I'm seriously thinking about quitting Facebook altogether. How free would that be?
Anyway...baby thoughts/answers based on y'all's (is that how you write that?) comments on the last post...
hawaii baby? I'll never tell :)
I'm sad to lose my preg buddies in Sara and Michelle! And my preg buddy here in real life isn't with child right now either.... I'm feeling kinda lonely people....you know you want to...
We'll take all the boy thoughts you want to send our way...but won't be disappointed with another princess.
I'm due at the very end of March so Kiran will be 3.5 years and Sienna will be 21ish months. We announced the pregnancy at my birthday party which was very fun. My church friends that were there didn't have any idea and squealed. During the prayer.
And my final baby thoughts for today... so many people have said something to the affect of how brave we are or how i must be capable of extraordinary things.... but you people have it all backwards. Obviously you haven't been to my house lately. Our philosophy was something like we can't keep up with the two we have now and do the housework and the yardwork and everything else so what's the difference in adding another child? I can't get anywhere on time with my two. My house is being overrun by clutter. I still haven't put up pictures on one wall and we've lived here more than two years. But the joy- the excitement of meeting another family member- I can't wait. I love my two more than life itself and I am thrilled for them to have a little sibling. (Kiran is way excited and if Sienna understood what was happening, I'm sure she'd be picketing outside the spare bedroom.) So don't go thinking I'm super-mom or something. I will agree that we are blessed. And thankful. So incredibly thankful.
On a totally different note, if you have pictures from my birthday party, my high school reunion, Mert's surprise baby shower tailgate or the beach- will you send them to me? I haven't been very good at taking pictures lately.

I'm glad to hear your house is full of clutter too! :)
Also, I guess if the baby ends up with a cool Hawaiian name, then we'll have our answer. :)
hey, one more set of hands to (eventually) help run the house. I'm pretty sure that's what MY parents were thinking. :)
so does that mean no pictures from the beach?
We have hundreds of pictures from the beach...but we took them all with my parents' dSLR and consequently they are all on THEIR computer and not mine.
Mhawwwhaha!! This baby is definitely an aloha baby! No doubt about it!
And I was so right about what I said about you in an email a month or two ago! ;)
Can't wait to meet little Elikapeka! (that would be my name in Hawaiian)
Your friends are funny. And Merritt and I are offended by the no pregnancy buddies thing. Just cause we live hours away - we can be virtual pregnant friends! Actually I didn't consult Merritt on that, I just went with it! Oh, and I guess quitting facebook makes it harder to be virtual friends. Bummer. Tech might be hiring - you can move here....and keep my kid!
hey now that I think about it, I'm offended too. For the next few weeks, we can totally be pregnancy buddies!
not on facebook, though, I should unfriend you before you can quit me first.
jk don't leave. :)
haha, you love us. :)
