Fall has begun in the Caskey household as we held the annual lighting of the
Yankee Harvest Candle on September 3 (Thank you Jonathan for my new one for my birthday!)...

Let the leaves-changing, pumpkin-carving, day-hiking, cooler nights, crisper days, bluer skies, football watching begin!

hmmm... I need to try that one out. I like the description of what's in it. mark is so partial to the pear, but I am getting sort of tired of it.
YEAH for Fall!
I celebrated the beginning of fall at Starbuck's. I absolutely love their Pumpkin Spice lattes and look forward to their seasonal arrival each year. When I was at Starbuck's last week, they had Pumpkin Spice Frappuccinos! What a great way to enjoy a taste of fall while it is still hot outside!
I keep hearing about this Pumpkin Spice Latte. It sounds so fallish. But I don't like coffee. Do you think they'd make one for me without any coffee?
haha! pumpkin spice frappucino! only in the south does a wintery drink need to be chilled, since it's still summer until at least october!
kelley, I don't like coffee either, really. but I love starbucks. with all the chocolate and cream and sugar, it's more about dessert than coffee anyway! start with something sweet (like a mocha) and work your way in. maybe you'll be a convert in time for the egg nog latte this december. (YUM.)
but start with decaf, or sienna will make you pay.
I absolutely love fall candles. It doesn't feel anything like fall yet though, with the mid-90's humid weather. I usually have to wait until October evenings to feel fallish.
I am way too in love with coffee, and don't miss those early nursing days when I couldn't have it. It wasn't the caffeine but the coffee that bothered Hazel. She had it in the womb, so maybe that's why. :)
My favorite is Spiced Pear. I think they discontinued it, though, and replaced it with a similar scent. It was all I needed to get ready for fall.
And man, that candle smells good!!
Fall? What's that?
Ah, fall. I remember that season, I think. Sounds so nice right about now, since we're still in the 90s most days!
