My brother Will goes to this one Chinese restaurant so much that when he arrives without his fiance they say "Oh Will where your girlfriend?" Since Will keeps them in business, they gave him a Chinese calendar which informed us all that this is the Chinese Year of the Rat.
Gross.
So I am taking it upon myself to declare this year instead....dum dum dum
The Year of the BOY.
See pretty much everyone I know that is due in 2008 is having a boy.
1+1=4 just had twin boys
Our friends from college are waiting on their twin boys any day now *edited to say TODAY they are having their boys
Hillary is having a boy in March
SB is pretty sure she's having a boy in April
It's a Mom Thing is having a boy in May
Lauren and Chad are having their first baby early June- its a.....wait for it.....Boy
J's brother and wife are adding another little Caskey boy
Two other friends in the same SS Class with It's a Mom Thing and Lauren and my SIL are due in June and having boys (that's 5 boys in one month in that SS class!)
Bethany is having baby boy #2 as well as Michelle
Have I convinced you yet??? I do know one girl from that same SS class in G'ville that is due to have a girl really soon. Jeni is waiting on her little girl any day now too.
As it stands 13 boys to 2 girls. I have two friends in Spartanburg who have had their big ultrasounds and chosen not to find out the gender! Actually one of them is having her second baby and both times her husband found out but she doesn't!! How he keeps that a secret is beyond me!
So we have our ultrasound next Tuesday..... I thought I'd put a poll up because what is the fun of having a blog if you can't poll your readers every now and again.
You can vote and be anonymous but I would love it if you would leave a comment telling me which one you voted for and why. I have no mother's intuition with this one but I feel like I need to at least have a solid guess before next Tuesday.

haha I like the other option. I voted for boy. My sole reasoning is you have a girl, so now it's boy time. Very scientific, I know. I'm looking forward to next week!
It's a girl...dare to be different from the masses!
I voted for team blue b/c I agree it's the year of the boy. Sara Beth & Kelli in our city both found out they're expecting boys. The Franklins still don't know yet but maybe their's will be boy too!
It's a girl. Kiran needs a sister to play dress-up.
Hillary Jolly is having a boy in March...add her to the list.
I say BOY just because....well it seems to be a trend around here. I do think it woud be neat for Kiran to have a little sister to play with ...like you and Erin and me and my sister...but boys are fun too! SO I say go TEAM BLUE! Can't wait to hear
I said Team Pink just b/c it seems the odds would say that someone has to have a girl. :)
Oh, and sorry, this is Annie, I didn't realize Brian was signed in.
I vote for boy because you need at least one of each!
(We are having a girl anyday now - the funny thing is almost everyone I know has had girls for about the last 8 months...maybe they run in packs?)
It's a girl - you just have to be different :)
BTW, there are two other girls from church, not in that SS class, that are having boys. I do know of two, besides Marie, that are having girls. But definitely the boys will outnumber the girls.
I voted boy b/c I know Beth has said your pregnancy has been different this time. That was key for me.
I'm with Chief (Cheese...) - I'm with Team Blue AND Pink.
I think there's twins in there, blue and pink, and the doctors just haven't realized it yet! I have heard of one twin hiding behind the other before (don't know if they didn't hear two heartbeats or what). I say since you get so sick you should have two babies at once and not have to go through all this sickness again. (at least not anytime soon with twins on your hands)!
I voted girl. You puked your guts out both times. That is my only reason. Plus, you have clothes for a girl already - and you like to be thrifty.
Plus, Kiran can't be the only Caskey girl for like 200 years!!
Who's the college friend having twins?
ryan stone
and kt you didn't say what you voted for. I especially want to hear your opinion!!!
I would say that all those boys means you're having a girl. but we thought the same thing with nathan (kiran is the only baby girl we know), and... not so much.
however, I voted team pink since we all know I want a girl. i fully intend to live vicariously through you until I get mine. :)
Oh! So glad I found your blog! I didn't realize you were expecting again....so congratulations! I hope you have another girl...because I love having two girls :)
I voted for a boy because Noah's sister in law is due about the same time you are, Kel. I was absolutely convinced she was going to have another girl (they have 4-yr old girl already) until the ultrasound 2 weeks ago, which showed a boy. So, I was a little torn on how to vote: either I vote for a girl because I was wrong the first time or I vote for a boy because that's what she's having (since that's a realistic correlation). I'm going with boy.
I wanted to vote, but cannot officially decide until my beautiful wife does the "ring" test on you. She says it has never been wrong. Therefore, I went with other.
Boys are great!!! Especially twin boys! If Baby Grant is a boy, watch out for projectile pee. It's awesome.
Ours is for sure a BOY now! No more guessing! But I'm really excited you're having a girl! Yeah! What fun.
