But on the way.... we had a long (should have been 2 hours longer!) layover in LA, so Alicia picked us up to catch up for a little while. We had enough time to get In-and-Out and take it to a beach to eat.
Thanks Alicia for spending half your day just to see us for a few hours! It was a great way to start off our vacation!

I can't believe LA has beaches that look nice enough that at first glance one would assume we were already to the HI pictures. Wow.
