Jonathan & I bought magnets at Target in Virginia. They were only $1 for 4 and they were right as you walk in the door calling to us. Well Dwight was calling to Jonathan and Michael was calling to me so we spent $2 and walked away with 8 awesome The Office magnets. My fave one has a picture of Michael saying, "I want people to afraid of how much they love me."
Tonight we watched the season premiere of The Office that we Tivoed last week. (We don't really have Tivo- we have whatever free DVR came with our dish network subscription but I think Tivoed is a really fun word.) I pretty much crack up at every single thing that comes out of Michael's mouth- but I have to listen very closely to catch it all. I've decided on two shows for this fall season- The Office and Extreme Makeover Home Edition. But I'm kinda getting over EMHE so if you have another show you think I'd enjoy, make your pitch to me and I'll try it out. I'm planning to limit myself to only two shows this season. I have plenty of other things to do. Like finish unpacking. But Jonathan thinks we should watch Grey's Anatomy since we invested so much time in it last year getting caught up on all 3 seasons.

Grey's might be good this season... but Prison Break is REALLY good this season! Totally rockin! I'd say go for that :) Then you have a commedy and an action/adventure :)

I'm in on the Office, and definitely in on Grey's. It is my one guilty pleasure during the week.
I can see what J means about having invested so much time in Grey's. But I think you'll find that moving from dvd-shows to live (or tivo) shows is hard - they seem so SLOW after you're used to watching episodes one right after the other.
My absolute favorite right now is Ugly Betty. I don't know how I would choose just two! But thanks to my dvr, I don't ever have to watch when I don't have time - one rainy weekend I'll get all caught up on everything!
I know Alicia really likes Prison Break too. Do I need to see the first season or can I just jump in?
I ended up watching the second half of Grey's. It was ok.
I haven't heard much about Ugly Betty. Hum....

They started playing Ugly Betty here on Start World, so I'm watching the first season and I love it! I've heard that later it's not as good, but who knows...
Grey's was pretty good this week... and Survivor is awesome this season - it's in China :)
Oh, the things you miss when you live in India. The Mexican televovela, for instance!
UB isn't a typical show like you'd see on tv here - it feels more like a daytime soap (lots of cheesiness and melodrama), except that it's more satirical - the show KNOWS it's making fun of itself. Mark likes it too.
