Halloween Notes

  • Kiran loved the trick-or-treaters that came to our house. She would run to the door and stare at them. Most of them were really great to talk to her, wave at her, etc. One guy said to Jonathan after receiving his candy, "Thanks and congratulations on the baby!"
  • Someone was out in a golf cart totally decked out in spider webs. That is stylin'.
  • Kiran went trick-or-treating at 2 houses and came home with 4 pieces of candy. Not bad for the first time. Plus she wouldn't wear her mane. She probably would have gotten more.
  • I don't mind the big kids so much. I just wish they would make an effort and be in costume. I'm thinking next year of posting a sign that says
No Costume, No Candy so Don't Even Bother.

I agree on the middle schoolers-no costume thing. I felt the same way! Can't they at least try?

I LOVE the sign-----Maybe you can make a profit out of making them for others---I would like to preorder --can it also say that you HAVE to say TRICK OR TREAT with a smile!
Glad Kiran had fun!

I hope you wore your playing cards costume:) Was it an Ace of Spades? Too many years have gone by. I can't wait to meet this adorable Kiran!! By the way, I can't believe that we trick or treated when we were in middle school!!

I did get pictures. I'll go post them right now.

Alrighty Beth- I'll make your sign right now! How much you think I could sell those for? Right now I have two slogans I can sell
No Costume, No Candy so Don't Even Bother
-and-
TRICK OR TREAT with a smile....or else

LT!! Welcome! I can't believe we were in middle school when I was the Ace of Spades. Remember when some person answered the door and told me that was the card of death? Great. Thanks for sharing that tidbit of information.
I *sadly* did not dress up. Did you?

Erin- you are so great. I did nothing. We went to lunch with Jonathan and we played at a new park and I did absolutely nothing in her room. Sigh.
