Somewhere in there is an interior decorator dying to get out...

Some of my pregnant friends and SIL have been talking about all they have been doing to prepare their new baby's room. HA! I'm still working on Kiran's room. But we have been making progress.

A few weeks ago, J's mom came over and we put up the letters for Kiran's name (translation: Susan put them up and I watched).

Last weekend when Jill was here, we tackled a few more projects. We bought cork squares, covered them with fabric and put ribbon on them for a bulletin board for K's room.

Jill brings out the crafty side of me.

Jill also whipped up this valence. And I mean whipped up. It took her like 5 minutes with an iron and some hot bond stuff. What was that again Jill? She said even I could do it.

And props to my handy husband for putting up the curtain rod.

Wow it looks great! So what name are you gonna use to cover up "Grant" on the wall in the other room?? ;)

I'm glad you like purple. Um, go paladins?

That ribbon matches your wall paint perfectly! It looks like an inverted window or something - I like it!
