Friday Facts

Well...I don't know if these all qualify as facts but I liked the alliteration.

1. Yesterday my mom, sister and I hit up my favorite consignment shop again. I'll take some pictures and blog about it soon.
2. For some reason, I get really excited when I catch Ace of Base on the radio.
3.We found a great direct flight to DC so Kiran & I are going to see Brett & Merritt while Jonathan trudges through the horrible task of going to many many basketball games in Charleston of all places.
4. Jordan & Beth found out they are having a little boy! Yea for nephews!
5. We are having friends over for dinner tonight. Real friends. The wife used to work with J but she doesn't work there anymore so they can't even be considered coworkers. Just friends.
6. We finally found a church we want to explore deeper. Its been a hard path since returning from overseas.
7. Today *might* be the whiniest day in Kiran's history.

On my way home just now, I caught "I Saw the Sign" and was SO excited! That's so random that you posted about Ace of Base today. They make me happy, too.

Yay for coming to see me!

Could you not find a flight with a layover in Roanoke? :(

Ace of Base - WOW!

I heard the all that she wants is another baby song this morning. It is my Ace of Base favorite.

Sorry Erin- I was trying to spend as little time as possible in airports and on airplanes with my will be 18 month old. Esp since we didn't buy her a ticket so she gets to sit on my lap for the ride.

I have a feeling that Kiran will become good friends with some flight attendants and other passengers in March.

Beth- I'll take the stroller. and the car seat in case there is an extra seat (hopefully far away from me- j/k!)

Erin G- HILARIOUS. I would totally make her wear it.

I know - too bad it costs like $25 or something. hey - you could draw that design onto a blank oneside for a fraction of the price - she could help you! and it would still be funny! I bet you can find a plane and letter stencils at michaels or something. a special going-on-a-plane outfit.

Kiran has flown on an airplane about 17 times but they were all under 10 months old. I'm really more nervous about flying with a toddler than with a baby! Esp b/c this toddler does. not. sit. still. Pray y'all.

Or you could save the image and print in onto an iron on thingy and iron it on a white onesie...

I have needed that shirt a few times! Flight attendants are GREAT with toddlers too!! E has been on more than one trip up the aisle!

No lie, Don't Turn Around was in my head all night long.
That shirt is hilarious! Especially since we're flying today and the colicky beast has struck again...

We're flying to the Middle East in March with Aashini and I"m pretty nervous about that - and she can't even walk ;) haha!

Don't Turn Around! That was the song I heard on the radio the other day. Thanks Em.

Aw Em & SAR- don't worry!!! Babies are easy to fly with! It does get harder as they get older! But then they'll get old enough to roll their own bag and sit int heir seat and read or play games and it will be easy again. Maybe I'll write a post about things we've learned while flying with a baby.

yes, please write that post. I think Nathan is going to have to make a trip accross the ocean to meet his family in the next 2-3 months, and I have a fear that this is a REALLY bad age to fly with a baby...

Post a guide for us when you get back, ok?

yeah that would be good! :) I'll be waiting :)

Oh, and I had to get 2 cavities filled today (more pregnancy fun) - and they used the numbing stuff :) I didn't feel a thing!;)

I'm glad they used the numbing stuff! Remember they told me I had two cavities that needed filling? My dentist here at home said No cavities just some grooves. whew.
