Baby Grant

I figured I owed you an explanation.

The people who owned our house before us had a 3 year old son named Grant. They, like all good parents, purchased the wooden letters of their son's name to adorn his wall. Unfortunately they chose to glue the letters to the wall. I have yet to figure out how to get the letters off without destroying that part of the wall. So we just decided to call our new baby Grant and not worry about getting the letters off.

Now if we could only agree on a middle name...

ahhh... that makes sense :) So are you just calling the baby Grant, or are you really going to use the name? What if you have a girl?? I guess I'm still confused... :) haha! I thought the brain cells were supposed to come back after having a baby... hmmm...

strange suggestion...could you use a hairdryer or heat gun to get the glue hot. it may come off that way.

or grant works. i really like grant.

I think it if its a girl we could just call her Granty- that way I could just add a Y on the wall. I think I can do that and keep the symmetry.

andrea- I'm still waiting on my brain cells to come back...

I'm going to have to protest that name! I know I don't have a vote but I will come up with a solution to get those letters off just for the sake of the new baby's name:) It is all quite funny though!

Andrea, What does people.com say about the brain cells coming back? I'm sure they would know!

If they used Krazy Glue, there's no hope for getting them off. I barely got my fingers unglued when they touched for about 1 second when I was gluing this really heavy thingy together.

So, Grant it is. You better pray for a boy. :)

Grant is better than Cletus the Fetus. That's what Nathan was before we chose a name for him.

And Grant is way better than saying "the baby" all the time!
